The applications for the Jay Holstine scholarship are inspiring, showing hard work and major accomplishments of so many different educational journeys.  The number of applications was much higher than anticipated.  After careful consideration of the top applications for the Jay Holstine scholarship, the selection committee added 3 Honorable Mention awards to the original award. While we wish that we could award first place funds to 24 out of the 245 applications, we trust that each of these four scholarship recipients will be aided by these funds, and strengthened in their progress toward a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math.  Each one of these recipients are going to enrich our society, and we are thankful for the promise of their future work.
